Hamilton Building Supply has been very privileged to have provided building material products and solutions to thousands of new home and renovation projects throughout the years. As we’ve continuously supported new home and remodeling construction, we also believe that it is equally important to support organizations within our community that provide for those in need.
Driving For A Cause is a Hamilton Building Supply initiative that promotes various causes our company supports, by wrapping our newest delivery trucks with a unique theme. Current causes supported are Type 1 Diabetes, Heroes & First Responders such as Nurses, Firefighters, Military, Police, the Deborah Heart & Lung Center, and coming soon Anchor House. Our delivery trucks are on the road daily, raising awareness to these causes that are bigger than our company. Each truck has a QR code that a passerby can scan to donate to the very important cause being featured.

Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP) helps low-income working families and individuals in and around Princeton avoid homelessness. Not only does HIP provide transitional housing for families in our area, they also support families with the resources to avoid homelessness ever again. Hamilton Building Supply serves as a benefactor and donates time, resources, and materials in many instances for HIP. As a building materials dealer, we have the privilege to supply products for our customer’s dream homes. We also own the responsibility to support our community members whose dream is to simply have a home.
HomeFront is an organization whose mission is to end homelessness in Central New Jersey. HomeFront helps families break the cycle of poverty and has served thousands of Mercer County families in the past 25 years by providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent service-enriched housing. Their services also include case management, homelessness prevention services, emergency food, free clothing and household, affordable housing searches, job placement, and readiness skills. Hamilton Building Supply is proud to support HomeFront’s mission and their tireless efforts in our community.
Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. At Hamilton Building Supply, we are committed to helping fulfill Habitat's vision by donating building materials throughout the year to our local Habitat for Humanity chapter.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF works every day to change the reality of this disease for millions of people—and to prevent anyone else from ever knowing it—by funding research; advocating for government support of research and new therapies; ensuring new therapies come to market and are recommended by healthcare providers; and connecting, engaging, and educating the T1D community. Hamilton Building Supply is proud to be a part of the JDRF family and a supporter of their vision of a world without type 1 diabetes.
Anchor House was founded in 1978, by a group of concerned citizens, to help move homeless and runaway youth off the streets of Trenton and reunite them with their family. Today, Anchor House offers a myriad of comprehensive, life-saving programs and services to more than 1,000 youth and their families each year. Our mission is to provide a safe haven where abused, runaway, homeless and at-risk youth and their families are empowered to succeed and thrive. The anchor is used a metaphor representing a ship dropping its anchor as a safe place to rest and wait out the storm.
