An Architectural Sales Associate (ASA) at Hamilton Building Supply. The ASA will develop business with professional and homeowner customers, while providing necessary and relevant product information and services for a given project.
The ASA will collaborate with Inside Sales Associates to deliver information, sales and service, to all customers quickly and effectively. The ASA will specialize in the complexities of product specifications and project applications and is capable of measuring and reviewing new and existing conditions for product placement on a project.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development Activities
· Maintain constant contact with all customer accounts
· Communicate new product and service offerings from HBS to customer base
· Utilize automated reports for insight on customers and purchasing history
· Serve as a resource for customers and close on their purchasing decisions
· Proficient in plan take‐offs, project walk‐through’s, measuring and specifying
· Work within budgets and provide customized solutions to close the business
· Work with Inside Sales team to support customers quickly and accurately
· Provide estimates and product proposals to customers and follow up
· Draw attention to project details and specifications that affect pricing
· Gather market information and share with Inside Sales team
· Manage every aspect of a customer’s project with Inside Sales team
· Be a liaison between pro, homeowner customers, and project architects
· Refer customers to other divisions within HBS to service all aspects of a
· Develop unique and specific customer loyalty/pricing programs
· Ensure that all customers enjoy a positive experience at HBS
Requirements
Maintain Adequate Work Environment
• Establish a suitable home office and occasionally work from main store
• Contribute to cloud-based information systems supported by HBS
• Utilize Microsoft Teams and Zoom for virtual conferencing internally and externally
• Contribute new project information to general project log shared with all sales
• Quickly respond to all emails, phone calls and chat messages
•Travel to visit with customers and project managers as needed
• Maintain a firm understanding of HBS computer software and general procedures
• Keep production and operations associates at HBS informed with customer order details
